Together with our partners, we are taking an important step towards a circular economy: since spring 2026, Euro Plant Trays – reusable plant trays – have been used for the delivery of plants to Coop.
Every year during the peak season, we transport up to 180,000 plants a day – ranging from herbs and vegetable seedlings to geraniums and berry bushes.

The robust reusable trays are designed to last for at least ten years. After use in the stores, they are returned to the cycle and reused. In this way, we are working together to reduce plastic consumption, conserve valuable resources and create a sustainable solution for plant logistics.

As Coop’s logistics partner, we are delighted to be part of this forward-looking project and to work alongside producers, retailers and other partners to make the plant sector more sustainable.
