Together with our partners, we are taking an important step towards a circular economy: since spring 2026, Euro Plant Trays – reusable plant trays – have been used for the delivery of plants to Coop.
Every year during the peak season, we transport up to 180,000 plants a day – ranging from herbs and vegetable seedlings to geraniums and berry bushes.
The robust reusable trays are designed to last for at least ten years. After use in the stores, they are returned to the cycle and reused. In this way, we are working together to reduce plastic consumption, conserve valuable resources and create a sustainable solution for plant logistics.
As Coop’s logistics partner, we are delighted to be part of this forward-looking project and to work alongside producers, retailers and other partners to make the plant sector more sustainable.
In the middle of the season, everything is running at full speed:
The processes are seamlessly integrated – from organization and order picking to delivery, every step is crucial.
This week is particularly busy; everywhere you look, goods are being packed and everyone is working at full capacity. These recent impressions show what's happening behind the scenes.
Our purchasing team visited our producers in the south and finalized the last details for the upcoming season.
We're incredibly excited – we're ready, the season can begin!
With spring, our season officially begins.
Every day, our team sorts, assembles, packs, and prepares large quantities of spring plants for delivery. We ensure meticulous processing so that the plants arrive at the markets in top condition.
Typical spring flowers are currently in high demand, but various herbs, perennials, shrubs, and trees are also very popular for planting in gardens and parks.
The start of the season requires a great deal of effort and excellent organization from our team: From the delivery of the plants and the preparation of orders to the packaging for transport, every step must be perfectly coordinated.
We are delighted to contribute to making spring visible everywhere.
Recently, our annual company event took us to Maison Cailler.
During our visit, we gained fascinating insights into the history of chocolate and immersed ourselves in the world of fine confectionery. For a moment, we became “Maîtres Chocolatiers” ourselves, creating and molding our own chocolate bars.
We were especially delighted that even the youngest generation joined us, making the day a truly shared experience across all ages.
We concluded this successful outing with a relaxed dinner in the region.
Our sincere thanks go to Maison Cailler and to our entire team for making this day such a memorable one.
The annual partner visit by Bellaplant management team members takes us to Holland in late fall to visit our long-term partners and suppliers. The focus is on personal exchange, maintaining partner relationships, and joint annual discussions.
On site, we visit greenhouses and gain insights into production processes. A particular highlight each year is seeing how the companies prepare for the upcoming Christmas season and plan their decorative assortments.
This annual visit strengthens cooperation and forms an important basis for quality, reliability, and sustainable partnerships.
This autumn, we were able to hold a fire safety course for all employees on our premises under professional guidance.
In addition to useful tips and rules of conduct, we were also able to observe a number of related experiments.
We needed a lot of relevant photos to design our new homepage. Here you can get an exciting insight into the photo shoot as well as some of the results. We are very pleased to have now published the new homepage.
